Who is NeuroNest™ for?

NeuroNest™ is designed for neurodivergent teens ages 13 to 17, with tools, language, activities and experiences created specifically for this stage of life.

NeuroNest™ is not intended for independent use by children under 13. We may explore experiences for additional age groups as the NeuroNest™ ecosystem grows.

What types of neurodivergent teens is NeuroNest™ designed to support?

NeuroNest™ is designed for neurodivergent teens, including teens with ADHD, autism and executive-function challenges.

It supports executive-function skills that affect everyday life, including working memory, cognitive flexibility, planning and prioritization, impulse control, self-monitoring, goal-directed persistence, emotional regulation and time management. A teen does not need to struggle with every one of these areas to benefit from NeuroNest™.

What makes NeuroNest™ different from other productivity or wellness apps?

NeuroNest™ isn't just a planner, meditation app, game or reminder system. It's a connected experience designed specifically to help neurodivergent teens build executive-function skills for everyday life. NeuroNest™ brings together an AI Companion, tasks and intentions, executive-function games, mindfulness and regulation tools, music, journaling and reflection, real-world practice, and parent support. Instead of treating these as separate tools, NeuroNest™ connects them into one experience designed to help teens understand what they need, practice skills and gradually take greater ownership of everyday life.

What executive-function skills does NeuroNest™ support?

NeuroNest™ is designed to support skills including working memory, cognitive flexibility, planning and prioritization, impulse control, self-monitoring, goal-directed persistence, emotional regulation and time management. Different parts of NeuroNest™ provide different opportunities to practice and strengthen these skills through everyday tasks, guided support, games, reflection and real-world activities.

What is the NeuroNest™ AI Companion?

The NeuroNest™ AI Companion is a personalized in-app guide that helps teens work through everyday challenges, reflect on what they need, and choose tools or next steps that may help. The Companion uses OpenAI technology within NeuroNest’s own controlled experience. Teens do not interact directly with an unrestricted version of ChatGPT. NeuroNest adds its own instructions, safeguards, safety monitoring and parent-controlled access around the AI experience to keep interactions focused on the intended NeuroNest use case. Rather than simply telling teens what to do, the Companion is designed to encourage planning, problem-solving, self-awareness and greater independence and can help guide teens toward relevant NeuroNest™ tools and activities.

How does NeuroNest™ approach AI safety for teens?

NeuroNest™ is designed with safeguards, parent controls and safety monitoring appropriate for a teen-focused experience. Parents can control access to the AI Companion, and NeuroNest™ includes mechanisms designed to identify certain safety concerns that may require parent attention. The AI Companion is intended to provide everyday support and skill-building. It is not a replacement for a parent, therapist, physician, emergency service or other professional support.

Is NeuroNest™ therapy or a medical treatment?

No. NeuroNest™ is not therapy, a medical device or a replacement for medical or mental health care. It is designed as an everyday skill-building and support tool for neurodivergent teens. NeuroNest™ helps teens practice executive-function skills, develop strategies for everyday challenges, use regulation tools and gradually build greater independence.

Was NeuroNest™ developed with input from teens, parents and professionals?

Yes. NeuroNest™ development incorporates input from neurodivergent teens, parents and professionals familiar with the challenges neurodivergent teens experience. Feedback and testing help us continue refining the experience as NeuroNest™ moves toward beta testing and launch.

What can teens do in NeuroNest™?

NeuroNest™ brings several types of support and skill-building into one connected experience. Depending on the feature, teens can work with their AI Companion, manage tasks and intentions, practice executive-function skills through games, use breathing and grounding exercises, meditation and sensory breaks, listen to music for different needs and transitions, journal and reflect, and practice skills through real-world activities. The goal isn't simply to complete activities inside an app. It's to help teens apply those skills in everyday life.

Does NeuroNest™ include games?

Yes. NeuroNest™ includes games designed around executive-function skills rather than games added simply for entertainment. Different games provide opportunities to practice skills such as planning, working memory, cognitive flexibility, impulse control, time management and self-monitoring in an engaging environment. Games are one part of the larger NeuroNest™ experience and work alongside other tools such as tasks, real-world practice, regulation tools and reflection.

Does NeuroNest™ include tools for stress, overwhelm or emotional regulation?

Yes. NeuroNest™ includes a range of tools teens can use when they need to slow down, reset, refocus or activate their energy and attention. These include breathing exercises, grounding, body scans, meditation, sensory breaks and other mindfulness and regulation experiences. NeuroNest™ also includes music experiences designed around needs such as focus, calm, transitions, sleep and mood support.

Can my teen use NeuroNest™ independently?

That's the goal. NeuroNest™ is designed to give teens room to practice greater ownership while parents retain appropriate visibility and control. Through Parent Controls and the Parent Dashboard, parents can establish boundaries, manage available features and stay appropriately informed without needing to oversee every interaction. Over time, the goal is for teens to become more capable of managing everyday responsibilities themselves — not more dependent on the app or their parents.

What can parents see in NeuroNest™?

NeuroNest™ is designed to balance parent involvement with teen independence. The Parent Dashboard provides parents with appropriate progress information, insights and controls while giving teens room to develop greater ownership of their routines and skills. NeuroNest™ is not intended to turn parents into constant observers of their teen's experience. The goal is to help parents stay connected without having to hover.

What can parents control?

NeuroNest™ Parent Controls are designed to give parents meaningful control over important parts of their teen's experience. Controls include access to the AI Companion, Parent Alerts, in-app music, Spotify, Apple Music, camera access, in-app progress sharing, parent-controlled tasks and social features. The goal is for parents to establish appropriate boundaries while giving teens room to use NeuroNest™ more independently within those boundaries.

How do Parent Alerts work?

NeuroNest™ is designed to give teens space to build independence while recognizing that some situations may require adult attention. When NeuroNest™ identifies certain potential safety concerns, an alert is provided to the parent through the Parent Dashboard. Parents who opt in to SMS Parent Alerts can also receive a text notification, providing an additional way to know when something may need their attention. Parent Alerts are an additional safety feature and are not a substitute for emergency services, professional mental health care or direct parental involvement.

Can teens connect with friends through NeuroNest™?

NeuroNest™ includes in-app friend sharing designed to support positive, age-appropriate connection and encouragement within the NeuroNest experience. Friend connections and sharing are intentionally structured, with parental controls built into the experience. NeuroNest™ does not include open messaging or user discovery, so teens cannot browse or search for other NeuroNest™ users. Access to friend-sharing features is subject to parental controls and gating.

Does NeuroNest™ include music?

Yes. Music is part of the NeuroNest™ experience, with options designed around needs such as Focus, Calm, Transitions, Sleep and Mood Boost. NeuroNest™ is also being designed to support music integrations such as Apple Music and Spotify, subject to availability and applicable parent controls.

Can I limit my teen's phone to NeuroNest™?

Yes. iPhone and Android provide device-level parental controls that can help parents limit access to apps and other phone features. Because these settings vary by device and operating-system version, we recommend following the current parental-control instructions provided by Apple or Google.

What devices will NeuroNest™ support?

NeuroNest™ will be available on iOS, Android and Windows. Teens and parents each have their own NeuroNest™ experience, with parents using their account to access the Parent Dashboard, Parent Controls and other parent features. During setup, the parent sends a unique code to their teen to securely link the teen’s account with their parent account.

When will NeuroNest™ be available?

NeuroNest™ is currently in development, with beta testing planned ahead of our anticipated Q1 2027 launch. Join the Beta Waitlist to receive updates and be among the first to know when NeuroNest™ becomes available.

Will NeuroNest™ be free or subscription-based?

Beta testers will receive access during the beta testing period at no charge. NeuroNest™ is expected to be offered as a subscription following launch. Final pricing and plan options will be announced closer to availability.
